What’s In Your Soul?

That catalyst arrived in 2021 when my family relocated. We moved from what I previously considered "the

country" to a genuine piece of heaven, situated roughly 35 miles away from the nearest major city. This new home

offered sweeping land and, crucially, a spectacular Bortle 4 night sky—a massive, transformative leap from the

light-polluted Bortle 7 skies of my past. Recognizing the rekindled look in my eyes, my wife bought me my first

real telescope since my twenties. That single, thoughtful gift ignited a spark. Over the next few years, that spark

evolved into a roaring flame, feeding a fire deep within my soul.
